The Clerk advised Members of road closures affecting Kendal Avenue on 30th March 2008 and Bower Hill on 30th March 2008 for road repairs.  The clerk also advised Members of a letter from EFDC Planning which confirms that application EPF/0158/08; relating to a 11 Sunnyside Road, Epping, and the erection of replacement dwellings and residential development to rear to create a total of five no. dwellings; has now been withdrawn and no action is necessary in respect of that application.

441.     PLANNING APPLICATIONS

Seven applications for planning permission were considered and the plans inspected.

EPF/0379/08

2 Bell Farm Cottages

Mr & Mrs A Peck

Side, front and rear extensions and alterations with demolition of existing outbuildings for provision of new garage.

Committee object to this application and are concerned that the proposals represent an incongruous building which will not fit in well with the existing line of terraced cottages which form a pleasing unit within the conservation area and within the green belt.  It was felt that the proposals would, therefore, significantly harm the street scene.
