OF THE PLANNING AND GENERAL PURPOSES COMMITTEE
HELD AT EPPING HALL ON TUESDAY 25th MARCH 2008

437. APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE
Although not a member of committee, Cllr Mrs Hedges tended her apologies
for absence at this meeting
438. CONFIRMATION OF MINUTES
Committee RESOLVED to approve the minutes of the meeting on 11th
March 2008.
439. DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST
Cllr Murphy declared a non-prejudicial interest in applications EPF/0356/08,
EPF/0437/08 and EPF/0438/08
440. REPORTS AND INFORMATION NOT REQUIRING A DECISION OF COMMITTEE
The Clerk advised Members of road closures affecting Kendal Avenue on 30th
March 2008 and Bower Hill on 30th March 2008 for road repairs.
The clerk also advised Members of a letter from EFDC Planning which
confirms that application EPF/0158/08; relating to a 11 Sunnyside Road,
Epping, and the erection of replacement dwellings and residential
development to rear to create a total of five no. dwellings; has now been
withdrawn and no action is necessary in respect of that application.
441. PLANNING APPLICATIONS
Seven applications for planning permission were considered and the plans
inspected.

application and are concerned that the proposals represent an
incongruous building which will not fit in well with the existing line
of terraced cottages which form a pleasing unit within the
conservation area and within the green belt. It was felt that the
proposals would, therefore, significantly harm the street scene.

parks to reflect the increased parking available in the lock-up
garage, Epping Library area. |
442. TERMINAL CONTROL NORTH / PROPOSED CHANGES TO AIRSPACE
Committee considered the consultation material but agreed that the matter
should be deferred for four weeks to enable Members to consider the large
amount of information involved in this consultation.
443. EFDC PLANNING DECISIONS
Committee NOTED the decisions of Epping Forest District Council Area
Planning Sub Committee East.
