Lindsey Street
Mr Leo Caplin |
Demolition of existing building and
erection of a three storey office building with associated parking at
lower ground level. |
|
Committee object to this
proposal as it represents an overdevelopment of the site. Committee
felt that the height of the proposed properties would be too dominant
in this street scene. Whilst Committee appreciate the need to
increase densities of residential developments where appropriate,
Lindsey Street is characterised by a variety of densities but, in
general, the density of the existing street scene is not characterised
by excessive height in this location.
