An X-Factor singer, a Britain’s Got Talent finalist and an auction hosted by actor and comedian Terry Alderton will be among the highlights of The Dream Factory’s ball on Saturday, November 22.
The event, being held at Orsett Hall, Orsett, is already a sell-out with more than 250 people having booked tickets.
The evening will feature X-Factor star Lydia Lucy and the Crazee Horse acrobatic duo which reached the final of Britain’s Got Talent.
The Monte Carlo-themed ball will also see a Funky Casino, Roulette and Black Jack Tables and Formula One car simulator.
Providing the music will be Martin Bell and The Atlantic All Star Band.
Among the auction items will be signed football shirts from Pele and David Beckham and signed memorabilia from Olly Murs and Kylie Minogue.
The Dream Factory founder Avril Mills said: “Our ball is always a great occasion. We are lucky to have some big stars coming along to entertain the guests. Some of our own ‘dream’ children will also be there and speaking about their dreams.
“The money raised on the night will help ensure that we are able to continue to make dreams come true for children and young adults with life-limiting conditions.”
The charity has granted some 300 dreams with another 60 on a waiting list.
