Following the very sad death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, please see the following information:

1) Epping Town Council Planning meeting 13/09/22 CANCELLED

2) Epping Town Council meeting 13/09/22 CANCELLED. This will be rescheduled to 27/09/22

3) Epping Monday Market will not be open on Monday 19th September 2022 (day of the Queen's funeral)

4) The proclamation was read by Town Mayor, Cllr Barbara Scruton, assisted by Deputy Lieutenant of Essex Hugh Pegrum on Sunday 11th September 2022 at 3pm outside Epping Hall, St Johns Road.

5) Flowers were laid by Town Mayor, Cllr Barbara Scruton, on behalf of Epping Town Council and our residents, at Epping War Memorial on Monday 12th September 2022.

6) A Civic Service was held at St John's Church, St Johns Road, Epping on Wednesday 14th September 2022 at 7pm.

7) Epping Town Council's book of condolence is held at St John's Church, St Johns Road, Epping and can be signed Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm. Books of condolence can also be signed at Epping Forest District Council, Civic Offices, Town Green, Epping. CM16 4BZ.

 8) Flowers may be laid at Epping War Memorial Green and these will be managed and maintained by the Town and District Councils.
