Planning Agendas & Minutes

The Town Council is a statutory consultee for Planning matters. This means that the District Council has a duty to notify it of all planning applications in the Town and must have regard to the views expressed when coming to a decision. The Planning Committee meets every two weeks to consider all Planning and tree applications. If the Town Council objects to an application, it is heard before the District Council's Planning Committee. Please note that the dates of the minutes relate to the Town Council considered the application, not the date when the application was determined.
